There is some discussion going on today on Digg because of a bill passed in Santa Clara, CA that outlaws the inclusion of toys inside “happy meals” because it encourages children to want to eat unhealthy food because they get a toy with their meal.
It’s interesting to think about a good balance between not allowing certain things and creating a world where we love and celebrate the good stuff. What I’ve learned in my own journey is that when you create more of what you want, the other things just fall away. Once this occurs, you aren’t really thinking about whether there is a toy or not because you are eating tons of healthy foods and growing your own garden- and you have no desire to get anywhere close to a fast food restaurant. Hmm you say…. I was joking around last night because once I started getting very active with my vision board and saying things like “I have a diet full of healthy foods, I eat lots of fruits and vegetables, etc.. here’s what happened: I found out I can’t digest gluten, microwaves disappeared from my home and work environment, I was introduced to a delicious nutritional supplement that I love, I was introduced to EMF harmonization technology which made it easy to make these changes, caffeine started affecting me in a way that made it very unattractive and I was no longer able to stomach any meat at all- then the choice to become completely vegetarian became very easy. It’s just funny because I wasn’t thinking all that other stuff would happen when I was just working to create a healthy diet! lol.
As you can tell I’ve made many changes in my diet because I can tell a difference in the way that I feel. Same thing I was saying last week! Where are you at with your nutrition? What kind of products do you buy organic? Do you believe that these foods make a difference? Have you done any kind of objective testing of your health by making changes? Here is a list of fruits and vegetables from http://www.sixwise.com/Newsletters/2009/April/01/The-15-Most-Important-Fruits-and-Vegetables-to-Buy.htm that are the most contaminated, at The Golden Age of Peace we recommend starting with these items and continuing to implement more and more organics.
